New book release from Dossou-Gouin

Former guest Writer in Molde City of Refuge, Gilles Dossou-Gouin, has released a new collection of poems. The collection is called "En fremmed i Hustadvika" ("A stranger in Hustadvika") and it is inspired by the coast and ocean that surrounds him in Molde, Norway. Dossou-Gouin is a productive writer, this is his fourth published book in the last three years.

I see this as a big chance for me, I am very excited, says former guest writer in Molde City of Refuge, Gilles Dossou-Gouin about his last book release. The poet collection "En fremmed i Hustadvika" ("A stranger in Hustadvika") has been published on Cappelen Damm, one of the larger Norwegian publishing houses.

"En fremmed i Hustadvika" is a collection of poems inspired by the nature in Molde and the area called Hustadvika. A central theme in the poems is love, and Dossou-Gouin explains to the newspaper Avisa Romsdal that he is very fascinated by the energy of the water.

One day Hustadvika can be so still, like a large mirror. The next day it can be a stormy ocean with huge waves. Just like people, he says. We are all energy, like waves. Sometimes we're calm and quiet, we feel calm and peace, other times there are a lot of energy and big waves within us.
