Creating Safe Spaces: Tactics for Communities at Risk is an internationally open online conversation initiated by New Tactics in Human Rights. The conversation is a great opportunity for practitioners to share experiences, challenges and ideas around creating safe spaces for groups at risk and build communities that put human rights into practice.
Elisabeth Dyvik, ICORN’s Programme Director, acts as one of the Conversation Leaders of the online conversation and strongly encourages ICORN’s guest writers and coordinators to join in on the debate.
The conversation is open. You can follow and participate in the conversation until March 15 2013. All you need to do is join the New Tactics online community and add your comments to the dialogue.

About New Tactics in Human Rights
New Tactics in Human Rights helps human rights defenders work more effectively so they can achieve their goals and better address human rights violations around the world. New Tactics is a program of the Center for Victims of Torture (CVT). CVT works to heal the wounds of torture on individuals, their families and their communities and to stop torture worldwide. New Tactics supports this work by strengthening the culture of human rights and the ability of human rights defenders to more effectively advance and advocate for human rights.
