Risking jail, Dr. Sedigheh Vasmaghi, lawyer, poet, women’s rights activist and former ICORN writer in residence in Uppsala, has denied presence at a hearing at the Revolutionary Court of the Islamic Republic of Iran where she is accused of threatening national security.
