The ICORN lectures are part of a three week interdisciplinary and transnational programme of intense lectures, debates and cultural exchange. This year's theme is "G-local Cosmopolitanism: The Social Responsibility of the Academic, the Artist, and the Media". The participants will be PhD students, postgraduates and advanced Research Master students from all over Europe.
ICORN director Helge Lunde will present a lecture called: "International solidarity beyond borders and nation states: The new and emerging bonds of hospitality and creativity between cities of refuge and persecuted writers". ICORN guest writer Parvin Ardalan will speak under the title: "Inside/Outside Iran: The challenges, the possibilities, the responsibilities of the exiled writers and the new societies of exiles".
