Guest Writer's Creative Writing Workshop in Uppsala results in Literary Festival

On 27 May, a five month long series of creative writing workshops led by Uppsala Guest Writer Anisur Rahman is concluded with a literary spring festival at Uppsala City Library. The festival is organised by the Library, Uppsala Municipality, Swedish PEN and The Study Promotion Association.
"I hope our workshops and festival will be an example that deserves a continuation. I will not be here for long years, neither any one here be. But, the library will exist for thousands of years. I will be ever happy if Uppsala City Library could be convinced enough to make this workshop their own and establish this festival as a yearly tradition," says Rahman.
The festival takes place at the City Library, 27 May, 18.30-20.00.To read the program, go here .
